Projects What to put under the rug.

I have a 28 coupe. I am doing the whole interior in kilmat including the floor. Should I put something under the rug besides the kilmat. Jute felt or polyfoam or is kilmat enough. What have you done to yours that works. Any ideas. I did a few searches and couldn't come up with anything.

I bought a yoga mat at the local second hand place, cut it up and used it under my carpet.
I'm happy with it...and the price.

 

I think you should put something over the Killmat. Are you trying to stop sound or heat, or both?

 

I guess both. It is 80mil. If I put something down, I imagine it would have to be glued to keep it from sliding.

 

That's a great idea. The wife has one she only used once or twice (big plans gone awry)
