5 pound sledge with a 12" handle, small ratchet & socket set, leatherman mul***ool, duct tape, tommy tape (for fixing what duct tape won't), spare headlight bulb, vehicle cell phone charger, 550 cord, big maglite, tire plug kit, air compressor, scissor jack, 4-way, lighter, and water for me. Just in case.

I fill the fluids before I leave...if it leaks bad enough to where I need to fill it at every stop, I should have fixed it before I left home.

I think the MOST ironic part of that whole multi-tool is the fact that it has a little ring on it so you can hang it from your keychain. If THAT don't yank the tumbler out NOTHIN' will. Lol

A wrench for adjusting the cal-trac bars. A low pressure tire gauge. 2 - 9/16 wrench's for adjusting the clutch. A couple screw drivers. And a hand full of fuses.

  6. i mostly run small blocks so i can get parts easily, cary a spare fuel pump for sure, gas line, fittings, clamps wrenches, sockets screwdrivers and allen wrenches in metric and usa, wire, terminals, couple bolts and nuts, some loc***e , rags or paper towels, good alum floor jack rated to lift car
aint got no AAA card so sometimes i use a lot of the tools and many times forget that that I cary them
most parts that i can get at wally world i dont always carry, but sometimes i come home with them, after taking a unproven car to CA that was a 2K mile test run one way, but fun even took the wife with:eek:
also cary a spare air bag and couplers and spare hose, never need it so far but it like a good luck charm!!!
and portable air pump and tire plugs

Screwdriver. Pliers. Lug wrench (which probably doesn't fit the lug nuts on the vehicle is it's in). Cell phone. Credit card.

I carry the same bag of tools that I carry to the U Pull It yard. If it gets whatever part I want off there, then it will get me through most repairs.
My bag has 4-5 straight and phillps screwdrivers in ***orted sizes. Alo has channel lock pliers, lineman's pliers, diagonal cutters, razor knife, little roll of iron tie wire, 3/8" deep sockets, couple extensions, universal, 1/4" deep well socket set, and a claw hammer for persuasion. If it's a long trip I carry a aluminum small floor jack to get things off the ground.
The tools all fit in a zip tool bag with pockets inside and out that's about 14" long, and 8" wide. Easy to toss in the trunk or backseat.
