Hot Rods What Type Of '40 Ford Wheel / Trim Ring Have I Got Here?

As the ***le says, i'm not sure what type of wheel this is (Whether it be a standard, deluxe, or from a different body style perhaps?..).

 

I don't think that it is a 40 wheel. The center hub looks to be too big around for a 40.

 

That looks like a '41-'48 Ford wheel. Check the diameter.....it should be 18". '40's were 17". Also '40's didn't have horn rings and that one looks like a '42 to '48. Hope this helps.
