Hot Rods What type of connector for brake switch?

    Hi guys -

    Can someone please tell me what type of electrical connector fits the terminals on this brake switch? Apologies pic isn't better, it's tough to get a good photo under the rpu.

    You can get a package of them at any auto parts house.HRP

    Take the switch off and go to NAPA. I am sure they have one...................................

    No need to take switch back off. They will have a pressure switch in stock.

  8. keep in mind that there are TWO sizes of those bullet connectors , i believe .156 and .177 diameter. i think that Ford brake light switch uses the smaller.....you better check

    When you get it hooked up have someone step on the brake pedal while you observe the brake lights.
    You may find that there's a significant delay in light activation.

    I use a pressure switch as a back-up for the mechanical switch that activates the brake lights as soon as I touch the pedal.
    I have heard that a Harley Davidson pressure switch is more responsive but I have no experience with them.
