    That's a good start. We used to run mmore like 20 or 25 to run when we were racing them hard. Given the vintage Mac 10 engine I'd rather foul a plug than stick the engine.

    Useta run a quart of AMZoil to 5 gal. of alki. would be the same with gas. (thats two stroke oil) :cool:
     
  6. No leaner than 16 to 1 , you could go as rich as 12 to 1 . If the motor has been setting for a while you should tear it down for inspection and cleaning . The caster in the fuel that was run through it will gum up the needle bearings on both ends of the rod and you will knock the bearings out of it in no time .
