OHV 4 banger, crossflow head, siamesed inlet and exhaust, updraft carbie, that exhaust manifold should make it easy to pick, but may not be a US vehicle, Australia imported whatever cars it could get from all over the world in the 20's and 30's.

Is there a brand on that coil, Lucas perhaps? May be English, Austin, Morris Vauxhaul etc. Looks like a typical Lucas coil.

    Cheers, Glen.

Put a couple more bullet holes in it, and let it die a quasi-natural death. I appears that any efforts at extrication will only result in further damage. There is a point at which you must let 'mother nature' continue her work - ashes to ashes, rust to dust.

Some see junk some see gold,Might be something there to save.I don`t see any of that Rust like we have up here. Make me wonder what the frame is like.I see a front end, steering box and frame. If I came across this it would be coming with me.Everbody don`t live in a place where Model A bodys grow on trees.I get a kick out of some guys on here, they have it too good.

  12. You never know ,move it to your garage for safe keeping.

  13. 1928 Chev,

Chassis might be saveable and would bring $100. The two port should be worth a little too.

Hey guys, cant be a chevy or many other domestics, its right hand drive. but it does have front brakes and aprons so makes it later that 1920 for most makes. I am guessing foreign maker of some sort.

  26. Has the parallel leaf springs like the Chevies and other GM models. Could have been an export model. My first thought was Chevy also.

  27. Guess you are wrong! Chevy & other domestics did build right hand drive cars.

As I said before it is a 1928 Chevrolet.

It looks to be a 28 chevy.Right hand drive means nothing. Alot of the big companys build there cars so they could be left or right hand drive. Here is a pic of one like it as well as the engine
