1967 I got the wagon for my 3rd Xmas. My daughter uses it now to keep her stuffed animals in. I still use it when I go to the swap meet.

Sounds like that watch works just fine. You haven't forgot the meaning. Your phone can tell you the time.

And I remember the trucking business oh so well back then. I made money unfortunatly doing the repo work on the rigs and trailers. Most of those hurt everyone as the poor bastard was just trying to make a living.

Best gift? Either Hot Wheels Mean mountain (which I still have), Hot Wheels Snake Mongoose or Johnny Lightning sets rans the shit out of those things.

Target just re-released the Sizzler set this year and bought the track, charger and all the new cars for my son when he gets older so he can experience them someday.
... oh and i'm not gonna lie, so i can play with them too with him!

  11. It wasn't the necessarily the BEST Christmas ever, but it sure was memorable. My folks were divorced, and so it was a little lean...but not to the point that they took it. My mom gave me a case of Moon Pies and a "bat house." Yeah...a bat house...like a bird house...only for bats. Oh...and she went out and hung it up on a tree right outside the house. My dad gave me a framed 8x10 photo of himself. Quite a haul, eh? It wasn't very funny at the time, but I laugh like hell about it now. I also vowed that my kids would NEVER have a Christmas like that.

I remember my GreenMachine Big wheel.....I glued cut up rubber bands to the front drive wheel.........I was the fastest in the neighbor hood...eventually twisted the thing up after side mounting a 3 1/2 hp Briggs to the side and driving it off the rears.....I remember it burned me real bad as it folded and the engine made contact w/ me..ouch......kids......But I can tell you that I can still fit on one and ride one all these yrs. later....Littleman

  22. 1966 or 67,Mattel made a bike called the "Bronco bike" with "varoom"engine". It looked like a dirt bike with pedals on it.Chrome front forks with acordian boots on them and rear shocks that actually were spring loaded for rear suspension. The back bone was made of stamped steel and resembled a gas tank. It had a spring loaded cover on top so you could put stuff in the "tank". The real kicker was this cheesey plastic noise maker "engine" that made this gawdawfull "RrRrRrRr" sound when you twisted the "throttle". After my brother crashed his one too many times,I used the front forks from his to extend the front forks on mine to make my first "chopper". Man what I'd give to have another one for my grand kid when he/she/? gets here.
