83 was the year, 1973 Green Gremlin. Bumpers removed, N50x15s on 15x10s that stuck out about 3" inches. 4 matching Chrome Baby Moons too. (Man was I COOL!) That car ROCKED? LOL
Very cool that yous till have your high school ride, mine was a '63 Chevy Impala SS convertible, wish I still had it.
Mine was a 1962 Chevy Impala. It was an 11 years old car when I bought it in my senior year for 250 bucks. Before that I drove my Dad's 1963 Fairlane Wagon or Mom's 1966 Ford Custom 4 door. The 2 fords both had inline 6's with 3 on the tree and the 1962 Chevy had a 283 with a powerglide.
1963 F100. White, longbed setting at stock height, and a 223 inline under the hood with a 4 speed and a limited slip 9 inch with 3.90 gears outback. 95 was balls to the wall top end at 4500 rpm but she sure would smoke em'!!! STILL HAVE IT AND AM ACTIVELY WORKING ON IT
Hey, my bother had one of those when he was in high school (long before me ). Except his was a panel and all yellow (orignially white). 235, 3-on-the-tree and a big ol' Pontiac rear end (to this day, he still tells me that was the strongest rear axle ever put in a car). I remember he put an 8-track in it and ran a couple of speakers into the back section. I was pretty young back then, and just thought it was a cool place for me to play in. He had picked up a couple of 283's and was going to make one good one from two bad ones but never did. Dad let 'em sit there until he joined the service then chewed his butt for leaving the engines sit and told him to get rid of 'em, so he did. The car was gone by then, anyway. 6narow
'49 Plymouth 2 dr-bought for $60.00, sold it a year later for $70.00 when I bought my '67 Bug Convertible, also had a '54 International Metro milk truck, it was a rolling party palace...Them was the days... Eric

55'Vert. This is the only picture I have of it, taken when I was putting a '58 T-Bird grille in. It was totaled in an altercation with a brand new '65 T-Bird. next was a 58 Borgward Wagon and a 49 Packard Limo.
I cruised around in a '83 cutlass supreme with a 1965 corvette 327 engine, coupled to a fresh 700r4, it was pretty fast, but still a boat on the road, but extremely fun to drive. (1999)

I drove a 77 sun yellow 1968 camaro with cragar 15x10 w/N-50-15 on the rear and 15x4's on the front. very cool car.
I had a sweet 1979 Pontiac Phoenix hatch back, with a 305 auto as a daily. LOL what a joke that was. I also had a 1971 Chevy Chevelle 2 dr 307 auto.
The only two worth mentioning that I had was a white 1993 Thunderbird LX 5.0 that was pretty much stock. Wish I still had that car. The other was my 1993 Mustang LX that was actually the first car I ever bought. It was a 4 cylinder with an automatic, and I swapped it to a five liter v8 with a four barrel on it and a five speed behind it. It's the only car that I've ever held onto.
