1997 I had me a 1985 Olds Delta 88 2 door Brougham with the bumps in the trunk. Yup i was one of them dumb asses with the loud bass. Thank god I grow out of that quick But for some weird reason i wish I still had that car. Them were some fun times. Funny story we were driving around one nite playing mail box baseball and I got a little close and my buddy ended up punching the mail box instead of hitting it with the bat. He broke his hand that nite. Young and dumb
After I totaled my 1965 mustang GT fastback 2+2, I got to drive this .... My chick magnetism was significantly impaired.
Pop had a junkyard. I would fix something up and drive it. Sometimes, if someone liked it, pop would sell it. Other times I would destroy the damn thing and back to the boneyard it went. I was always starting over again. 63dan63 ... What the hell is that thing?

My senior year 1977 I earned enough money to buy a really nice 1965 Mustang 2+2 fastback with yes the Hi-Po 271 HP 289 with a 4 speed / ralley pac agges / and exhaust. Was Red with a White Poney Interior. I kept it a year after I graduated and traded it in on Red 74 Pantera with a dented right front fender and bent wheel that I fixed and drove the heck out of the Pantera for a summer and trade it off for a New 78 Pace car Vette since I worked at a Chevy dealership in 78-79. I could go on with the very valuable cars I have owned over the years ( when the wife and I were dinks before little Cob came along) - Shelby's/ Motion Camaro's / Hemi Challenger/ Cuda's and so on ( Raced a 55 Chevy Gasser from the 60's) Then I got over the muscle cars and found a old coupe and been old hot rods since that. Have a 63 Dodge Polara 2 door hardtop 440 Big Block car now - plain jane car - sleeper - which is the way I like it. Might do a coupe again....... Cob
A 1930 model A coupe with a flathead v-8 that was so tired , I had to carry my budies along so I could pop the cluch to get it started .
A 1954 Ford 2 door, 6 cylinder stick shift, that I bought for $50.00. I added a ton of bondo, air shocks, and a cheap Earl Scheib paint job. That made it one smooth ride.
63' ford f-100 with a 352 overborne to a 390 with a 6 pack and a over sized cam and all balanced... i blew up the engine.
56 chevy post car 348 engine 3 spd on the floor, green with a primered hood with scoop. My front plate said "Brand X"........Ran like a raped ape
I rolled in 63' Beetle. Kind of a slow ass stocker with a little hippie flair. The interior had this kick ass musty oil smell. I loved that car.
A few 52 F-1 that my Grandpa had and gave me with a Flathead, all I did is put on battery/tires, and redid the exhaust with headers and glasspacs. Also had a 59 Pontiac Catalina more door and a later a 62 Buick LeSabre more doo. All pretty good rigs but long gone over 30 some years ago! Michael
1955 Buick Roadmaster 2-door hardtop.......I paid $50 (in 1979) for the car because it had been sitting outside (man of the family died), the engine was froze, and the widow wanted the car gone. My brother and I towed the car home, which was about 1 mile from where the car was sitting, with his 1960 Impala 2-door hardtop. I had the Buick running and driving within one week of owning the car. The interior was beautiful, red with black.....The machine-turned inlay of that dashboard still "gets me" every time I see one. I sold the car just before I went to college to fund my education.
I'm so old that, for most of my h.s. days, my ride was bright yellow and had a big sign on the back that said "This vehicle stops at all railroad crossings." Then later we moved to town, and my transportation had a small sign on the back that said "US Keds".
1967 Camaro RS. Bought it for $1000 . 210 hp 327 with a powerglide for school and a 60 ranchere with the mighty 170/6/ 3 speed to tow the chevy home when it broke. The Camaro is the reason I drive fords today
1967 Mercury Caliente... 289, no power brakes, no air, no power steering... just hp straight to the wheels.
