I'm going to guess that money is no object and with that that in mind, my pick would be a real 289 F.I.A. spec Cobra roaster in full race trim, if money is an object i think i would like to find one of those neat '65 Chevelle 2 door wagons and reskin it with Pontiac Lemans or GTO sheet metal... sounds crazy but I do love the Pontiacs......It would need to have a Poncho motor also, 428 maybe.

  19. Already have the Offy KK midget :) .

I'd want a winning OFFY Indy Roadster. The George Salih laydown roadster that won Indy in '57 with Sam Hanks and then again the following year with Jimmy Bryan would be at the very top of the list.

You guys are all gonna laugh at me, but I'd get about a '74 Laguna S3. I know, they may not be this or that, but I love those cars and you can't hardly find one anymore. I looked for an S3 front facia for a Malibu I had for years, still haven't found one. Big block it, preferably a 4 spd.

Yeah, there are a ton of other cars I would love to have, but I'd drive those until i got bored and sell 'em anyway, but I might actually keep the Chevy.

  21. A friend of mine had TWO S-3's in High School, back then they were just old cars, huh?

    My list...

    Jimmy Whites car
a set of Riley overheads for the Flatty
    a surplus P51 or P47 for Reno

and a lifetime supply of Jack Daniels.;)

This one's wayyyyy out there and not a trad rod at all....

If i had the cash and found one tomorrow..
    A 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder.

    Thats the first one..
Right after that would be two of my dads old cars.
His '63 Impala he bought new, and his '51 merc coupe he had in high school....

    Now, this one's completely different.....
I'd buy the cure for cancer if i found it....yup, i said that..

  30. Last winter I drove the Buick version. I only owned it because it was free and ran - so I challenged myself to see how long it would last and how little I could spend on it.

I considered doing this to it, then I got a Ramcharger instead. I mean, it's not like you could make these cars any uglier than they are.... but you can get them stuck in places a 4x4 can't go. I drove this one home in a snowstorm with a flat rear (the lugnut rounded off) and didn't have a problem.

No one wanted it so I parked it. Gas gets much higher I may put the thing back on the road... then again, it didn't get that great of milage with the carb on it. Maybe if I put the TBI from the S10 with no ***le into it....

Those are '61 Cad fins I actually cut off a car. I set one on the car and edited it to see what it would look like welded up. No idea what I will use them for now, I don't see 'em on my Fleetline, thats for sure.

As for the actual topic of the post, how about a useable 30-31 A coupe body cheap? I'd love a '59 Pontiac Star Chief 2dr post, too. Hell any decent '59 Pontiac. Or a '58, or another '57... a '41 Caddy coupe... then again I am one of those guys who buys most anything cheap, if I don't want it I find someone who does and make a couple bucks on it.
