I have a buddy here locally who used the hood from one of those on his NOS injected, SBC '78 Chevy Luv truck, LOL. It's a runnin' mofo too, got the tank right nehind the seat, just turn the knob and off you go. Hood looks damn nice too, surpirisngly enough.

hello every one new here. kind of first post. Mine would be a decent 30-31 model a coupe. to build PURPLE PEOPLE EATER style. i love on the ground, big motor, and scarry fast. not lookin for period perfect but period correct but my problem is i have a quick big block chevy and dont know if it would be right for that kind of project. but it will have; cal custom valve covers, hilborn timing cover, magneto, and mags with pie crust slicks. would be a damn cool and a damn fast hot rod.

    An A coupe, A Roadster

    An original GT40

An original HG Monaro (It's an aussie thing)

    A convertible Mercury

  11. The answer to that question depends on when you ask it. Right now I would go buy a 63 XKE Coupe and paint it in metal flake green with silver scallops and vermillion pinstriping and white leather seats. And I would drive around in the nude.

I want a '32-'34 Ford Roadster, turn-key only please......I know, I know, cookie cutter hot rod that everyone has .

Gee, thier all over why would you want one of THOSE??
I want to downsize to ONE CAR and it would be roadable cruiser, like my '53 Ford but still have the balls to scare the crap outta ya like my T Bucket.

Let's see............if I sell both of my cars.......I'll still only need about a gazillion dollars to make it work:eek:

I wanna change my answer. I'd buy me some gasoline at the .89/gallon it was when I was in high school.

Aircooled, I'd like a few thousand gallons of gas at the price I paid in 1962 in Flint, Michigan while attending General Motors Institute. Regular was $0.27/gal during the week and on the weekends they'd have a gas war and it would drop to $0.19-$0,20/gal. You never bought premium cause it was $0.03-$0.04/gal. more. Actually you would buy 5 gallons worth of premium if you went drag racing on the wekend.

My fantasy dream ride since 1962 when I was about 12 yrs old, and sat and daydreamed in one that was on a used car lot in the little town of McBain MI, has been to own a '41 Hupmobile Skylark.

I would buy people that don't back out n deals, pay you promptly for what they agree to buy and get contracted jobs done in reasonable amounts of time.

First would be a real 32 ford roadster...or maybe a cabro.

Next would be an Iris Mist 65 GTO hardtop.

Then another 62 Bel Air sport coupe like the one I had, but this one would be a real numbers matching dual quad 409.

A 29 roadster on 32 rails to take to B-ville.

A 68 Mustang fastback Bullitt clone.

My 69 Judge I had in high school.

If I ever get the big bucks thats what I am going after...I have my coupe and merc and they aint going anyplace.

  25. Make My taildragger a Stearman, Waco Bi-plane or a Globe Swift...!!!

As far as cars are concerned..., I want my old 31 roadster back and my 57 Corvette.

Something about the vehicles I built or restored that I can't explain...!!!

I'd probably have to go with Tim on this and go with a winning lottery ticket...either that or else the 62 Bubbletop my Dad sold for two thousand dollars!!! Even though I was only two, I still remember the car. It had a 380 hp 409 in it. A real rusty one went for 40 grand at barret jacksons!

A girl between the ages of 17 and 40 that doesn't have a tattoo.......

  28. One of those fuel saver gizmos that really works and will let me get 150 miles to the gallon in my suburban, with a car on a trailer behind me. Thats what I really want. Actually, a dozen or so so I can put them on other cars too, would be nice.

Edit: If there's a place to buy girls, let me know, I'm not going to worry about a tattoo or not! ;)

  30. I dont know, I think you'll have an easier time with the upper list than with a 53 or 54 Fleetline. But let us know if you do find one, I'd like to see how they look - :)
