    Lower it.... cut a coil and a half out of the springs... drops it 2~2 1/2in. ( ya I know there's better ways but it cheap and been done forever) this will give you stance until you can pick up some aftermarket parts (plus it's not permenent)

    Put a simple six in.. what bolts up, start playing with it.. straight prime black, shiny black wheels, spider caps, beauty rings. Enjoy it for awhile, the most fun I have with cars is at this stage; simple.

    I started painting mine this week. I went with a 8.8 rear end from a 2001 Ford Explorer and bought a complete front suspension from Jim Meyer Racing. It was a little pricey but way better than M2 stuff.

    I built mine as a daily driver and long distance cruiser so I used a 700R4 and a 350SBC built with forged internals and stock cam with an Edelbrock manifold and 650CFM carb.

    I hope to have the paint finished and get it to the upholsters by the end of July and take it for a shake down run in August.

    i used to see one in the magazines at all the shows... was hammered big whites with chrome baby moon wheels... semi gloss orange..and buick port holes in the hood car looked really good made me wish i kept my 47 sedan
