These folks sure look excited to heve theirs. I believe it was the first year of the American model line.

Next level up was the Country Club......

These are all fine suggestions, but to really maximize the potential of this car, I would suggest side x side Allison 1710 V12s - use a homemade adaptor to a 39 crashbox, and a suitable-length driveshaft to a modified lightweight Crosley differential - oh, and don't forget to put in a couple of extra radiators, too. A BFH and a shoehorn and you should be done in a weekend.

  4. V6 or Quad 4 5speed trans, a few performance goodies disk brakes. Comfortable interior with front seats that fold into a bed.

    I like it.

  5. Don't forget the 18" bicycle tires on back. Oh and wheelie bars just incase.

Go Nash! My thought would be a SHO taraus v6, rotated 90 degrees adapted to a T5 making it a RWD. Could even use the 9" rear end from an early bronco. Use 2 short side axels and just narrow one side to make it fit, this makes a 45" wide rear end. That thing is way cool!

  8. The Nash is cool, rambler brought out the same dies in 58-61 and built the american, put a turbo charges ford 2800 in it and have fun.

Now thats sounds like a plan. I was just thinking sho taraus engine.

  11. That will work. Keep it light and perky. Should be quick as hell and give decent fuel mileage. Good Luck. Drive it down to Key West when you are finished.

Don't buy it. Spend the money with a good doctor. Start with an opthamologist. If your eyes check out ok, see a neurologist. There may be a chemical imbalance.

Please don't ignore this situation. It may progress. We don't want to see you driving a Mustang with a tractor grille, do we? ;)

I must admit, that dual Allison idea has merit...
