I met up with a buddy of mine, Tim, after work tonight. He cuts my caliper brackets on his laser cutter. He's working on intake/exhaust flanges for me to build tube manifolds for Mopar flatheads. We talked about expanding his line of work a bit. He generates a lot of drops that usually end up going for scrap. I was wondering what, if anything, you guys might be interested in having cut from a sheet of steel, aluminum, or stainless? I thought about other manifold flanges, side covers for flathead sixes, blockoff plates for fuel pumps, grilles, etc. Anything you can draw or photograph could probably be done from very thin sheet metal up to 5/8" flatbar. Put on your thinking caps and let's make something. It could be decorative, functional, weird or even everyday, think hard!
