  2. Here are some pictures of the hubs TruckenTom73 got from me. They came off a 48 Ford front end assembly. But they could have come off something earlier.

    You have 46-48 hubs. Mount the drums INSIDE the hubs for correct spacing for the shoes. These hubs came two ways,full backed and recessed back. You have the recessed back style. Either can be used with 5 1/2" old Ford bolt spacing. If you are going to redrill for 4 1/2" new Ford, these are not the ones to use. Try to trade for the full back version so the studs will pull up tight. The spacers often mentioned are for the use of Ford wire wheels on lated hydraulic brake drums. You can't use the wires with the Buick drums without a huge spacer which makes a horrible offset of the wheel. Cut the drum to fit the hub if using early Ford pattern. Cut the hub if you end up with late Ford. It is a hole edge distance thing.
