    What year of S-10 and/or engine do I need to look for to find a 4x4 T5 transmission?
    I would like to modify it to work with the factory torque tube but right now I need to know what vehicle to look for.
    Thanks

    1989 is the last year that a T5 was offered in a 4WD S-Blazer.

    You don't have to modify the transmission but you do have to shorten the torque tube. That being said, you still need to adapt the transmission to the engine if it's to a Model A or flathead Ford.
    You can buy a kit if he still makes them from;
