    More air and a great place to allow more bugs in...:D

    If your not running AC it really is nice to have a breeze coming at you and having a A Coupe with that option I do utilize it even though it's a little mixed with engine bay offerings and bugs (some with stingers :eek: )...I see both 39 and 40 had Cowl vents which helps...The side vent windows also help direct air inside which probably was a catalyst to ditch the hinged Windshield in 1940...

    Maybe NOS has the 40 and there's a local 39 parts car available with all the t*******s...

    Hotrodders are quite adept at doing things that others may not even consider...

    The other thing is these body styles are so similar its understandable the curiosity similar to 33/34 and 35/36 Fords...

    Don thanks to you and the others for chiming in...that single tailight deal is an interesting one and I can imagine one of the more popular upgrades based on rear ender stats and tiring of sticking the Ole Arm out the window...
