Cadillac does not have fins before 1948, and this car can be older than that :) But it could be a Chevy or some other car , but i think its a GM car atleast.

Late 40s style full custom. Chopped top, dechromed, lowered, trunk corners rounded, tail lights in bumper overriders all point to this. Was probably a 46 - 48 Chev coupe to start with.

    It's a 40/41 Cad or Buick coupe.

  10. I don't know which specific make, but I will say GM product and it's definetely 1946-1948 becuase the earlier years don't have front fenders that extend on to the doors.

    Agreed.
If you look close you will see the external trunk lid hinges. That is a 46-48 Chevrolet feature I believe. I don't recall any other GM having those. Although they could have been added. It seems most customizers were taking off, not adding Chrome.
Bumper over ride tailights was a late 40's era custom favorite.
Here is a pic of some on a 41 Merc. Pic is curtesey of Rik Hoving's CCC site.

All 46-8 GM coupes had those trunk hinges.

I like those tail lights in the bumper guards.

They all, 46-8 GM coupes, had fenders extending in the door and strap hinges on the trunk, the hinges go back pre war. The biggest clue that it might be a chevy is the bumper. Each GM model had its own, that one appears to be Chevy, at least it's the same as on my '48 coupe. 'Course it could have been changed too.

It's a custom so identifying the correct year is nearly impossible. Unless you happen to know the builder, it's just a guestimation on the exact year. A lot of work went into this car so you could not identify the year. The wide hood makes me think it is an early 50s car. Chevys and Fords had narrow pointed hoods at the front.
