22-back the windshield was vertical. 23-up, it leaned back. That's about as far as I got since it was a hot rod, not a restoration. Heck, it's even 'gl***! More https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=211359
Found this, unfortunately, they don't point out spotter's guide help. This one was posted a while back when it came out. high hood and low hood. It's a bit dry, but really shows the differences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxvob0_Pse8
If your engine number is 1919. In mid 1919 Ford started putting ring gears on all flywheels. Keep in mind anything could have changed over the last 100 years, but that car with kerosene cowl lights would have been originally a non electric car...crank start. So, if no starter on it now, it could have a ring gear to put one on it. I have the book which shows the exact serial number of the ring gear change, so if no starter send me a pm and I'll look up your number
It is a Frank-N-T. Different components. Whatever is on the ***le or registration is what the legal description is. Jim
Jim is more or less correct. Most Model T's have suffered from hillbilly restorations in the 60's and 70's, so unless its really an original car its likely that it was built from what ever fit from the neighbors junk pile. Even in those 23-25 years there are differences in many parts, I'm not expert enough to point these out. The folks at the MTFCA forum would pick out every detail. I've had a few running T's, still have some parts and a fixable hulk. T's are a lot of fun, and pretty good bargain these days, except for the early br*** cars. No need to hire Jim, I do it like this...LOL
