IMG_9819.jpeg IMG_9822.jpeg IMG_9821.jpeg IMG_9820.jpeg We went to breakfast Thursday morning, and saw this sitting at the shop across from the dinner, and being that it’s a model and year of major interest for me, I had to see if it could be bought. The story is, a lady inherited it from her uncle’s estate after it’s been in a garage since ‘78. They are working on getting it reliable for her to drive. Her husband wants to sell it, but sounds like it holds memories for her.

Couldn't get my phone out in time but I saw a tan 34 ford pickup with reddish orange steelies at the holiday Inn express in Grandville across the street from me.
If you're in town for the metro cruise stop on by I have beer in the camper

  21. Went to the Belton, Mo. Cruise Night and got some photos. Tried to stay away from OT wheels, etc. but got a few good H.A.M.B.- appropriate vehicles.

I saw this Chevy the other night while on my way to get chips:

In many ways quite a typical local build.

Saw this '55 4-door on my way to the WI Auto Museum in Hartford, WI:

There were a few "traditional" rods and customs in the museum:

Really a great place, with something for everyone, and almost exclusively pre-60s. Vintage automotive tuning machines, automobilia (signs, paper brochures, ads, dealership stuff), and if you are into Kissels or Nashes, it's a must visit.

3 + years ago, my friend Jesse Jaeger asked me to help him with his 62 Impala….2 weeks is all it will take. 10 months later, it rolled out of my garage. His life got in the way and I have not seen the car since until yesterday evening. He showed up at our local cruise in spot.
DAMN, it sure does look good ….. enjoy IMG_6567.jpeg IMG_6565.jpeg

    Hello,

Yes, it does look great. A little touch up in the actual photo makes the lighter color car stand out better. Despite a normal parking lot with other intrusions in a good photo.
