Not just saying this because we are on the Hamb, I honestly like some ot wheels, but Im sorry, ones like these just ruin the look of a otherwise cool car, It would look just as well with a old set of pontiac rallyes without the rings and caps:( sorry:) Thanks for sharing tho:D

At least they're not 18" with rubber band tires. I have never been a fan of General Lee wheels (big fan of Daisy Dukes though) but got these dirt cheap for the tires and thought what the hell, cleaned and painted them. To me they look better than the Cragars I have on it now. But, being a wheel *****, I'll have something else on it next week anyway.

    Hello,

We were driving down this road and an old unadorned pickup was sitting on a huge parking lot. It was hard to get photos with all of the stuff around the lot, so it became a “grey day.” (actually, it was a grey day, overcast and slightly foggy.) But, look what was in the pickup bed… a modified beer keg with a gasoline tank, fill tube and cap. The tank was well secured. It did have a braided line going down through the pickup bed floor. I presumed it went down and forward to the motor.

I would not want to be at a New Year’s Eve party with this truck out in front. Some crazy person would see that keg and go bananas. What a hangover that would be…Be safe !
In So Cal, you see all kinds of strange stuff. “Rust Never Sleeps”…especially in coastal beach towns.

The only similar image I could find was of this International Harvester pick up truck. The rear split windows look very similar. The old truck with the beer keg tank, did not have any insignias or decals.

Did this truck come from somewhere along the Gulf Coast of Alabama. Believe I have seen it before.

He bought it in Wagner, Okla, a couple years ago. It was a survivor, in excellent shape, had a old repaint. He changed the wheels, did some tricks to make it look older. I’m not sure what people call that look, kinda popular now.
I looked at the truck before my friend bought it and I think the guy said it was a local truck, but not real sure... it’s been 2/3 years. Memory not as good as it used to be!

My '47 going down the road and sounding great after my great friends fine tuned it for me (I'm more of a bodyman) and it was beautiful to me .

This old truck, parked outside the butcher shop where I was buying dinner. It is parked there all the time, as a display piece.

Went skiing at Mt. Bachelor. Stopped in Sunriver to get a photo of this flatbed truck. Set up with skis on the front and chains on the rear. Thought it was pretty cool. IMG_1783.JPG
