66 Mercury park Lane 4d sedan.
Sitting in garage last +40years.
Had to go see it be cause my father sold owner his previous mercury, a 64 park Lane 4d sedan.
He converted both perkins diesel powered..that was seventies.
64 is long gone.
This 66 is for sale and there is slight change i get it.
Then might put 5,7 diesel in it like the current owner planned...
Original 410 fe is long gone.

Posted this on the thread on the Antiquated page, so heres a double. Saw this 35-37 Ford truck on the PCH in Big Sur during our trip a couple days ago. Seems to have a SBC mated to the stock driveline, dropped axle with unsplit bones, chrome "streetrod" wires, red metal flake vinyl seat cover and a ROADSTERS sticker on drivers head light. I'm sure others have spotted it also. We ran the coast from Ventura up to Monterey and I only spotted the truck and an orange 46-48 Chevy coupe street rod with purple flames, I was hoping for more, OH WELL, it was an aweskme week anyways. Mitch

 

Went to breakfast with the wife and this was parked out front.

Not another Dodge… but there is a Plymouth in the group twice…

 

A snow covered driveway and 5 degrees F on the thermometer.

 

I see snow, 12 degrees, 50 mph winds, and no power anywhere around!
Glad we've got a generator, but sad to see our neighbors without power the last two days in this bitter storm!

 

Getting dumped on. Had 6' branch land on my tent put a small slice in the top compared to the size of the branch. Now I'm fighting the John Deers electrical issues.
You can see the offending branch laying in front of the garbage bin.

 

2 car gatherings today… one at 7a the other at 9a and about 5 miles apart… these 2 were at the first one. Both top-of-the-line for the time.

 

Criminy that's a long motorhome.

Come on. Some one should be able to come up with make, model, date of manufacture and who used to own it by now. The stopwatch is running.

 

Its not a Ford or GM creation under said tarp.....Dang ....that motorhome next door is a bigun now that you mentioned it...
