Renderings are time consuming, and is photo art and graphics.
People think its a simple push of a shutter and some time on the computer
I did some calendars for years for a friend, then he asked me to bill him for the time I really spent,
I soft billed him for 40 hours at $50.00 an hour,, he fainted

Did this rendering in Solidedge at work while trying to reverse-engineer the commands based on my Solidworks experience. Some of the commands aren't available for some stupid reason, so I had to get creative with work-around solutions.

I've never considered a rendering simply because I've always had a vision of what a project is going to look like, but never restricted myself that much to stay within any exacting image during the build.
I always tweak things as I go, so if I was to have a rendering done it might not look like the car I ended up building. I'd prefer to have the artist draw what I built, instead of drawing what I originally thought I'd be building.

This thread made me think. I remembered a picture I did way back in high school.
I used to love looking through my grandfathers flat rate manuals with the front end of each make and each year.

This picture was from 32 years ago. I have not really drawn much since.

I really don't know how it's supposed to hang. Above is how I intended it to hang.

I can’t believe you got a pic of Kevin not high siding it! Oh wait that’s what you envisioned he would look like if he stayed on. Just kidding that is absolutely beautiful work and must be worth a pretty penny for sure.
