Well, heres the story. My nieghbor down the street comes by. he asks to borrow my car trailor to clean out some junk in this old mans barn. Reluctantly I say yes. He does the job and brings back my trailor with a 1927 ford roadster body, and a 40 ford frontend on it. He says he knows I like this stuff and wants to give it to me for letting him use the trailor.
Needless to say I am more than a little stoked.

The only thing left on anything that I loan to someone is dirt and maybe a few scratches! I guess it pays sometimes not to be an asshole, excellent score. Got pics?

When people ask to borrow my car trailer I tell them to leave their wife for a deposit.

So far no-one has taken me up on it ,wonder why?

    Great story.
Being a nice guy is a karma thing, and it comes back around.

While not as sweet as a T roadster body, my neighbor was cleaning out his garage and gave me a roller cabinet and a hydraulic press.

  23. I hear you on the loaning the trailer out thing... mine usually comes back with torn straps, dented fenders, flat tires and a bent trailer jack!

But I still loan it out...

This story is a great example of people doing the right thing. You both benefitted, no losers! Great job.

But I'm telling you in advance, if I borrow your trailer, it's NOT coming back with hot rod parts on it. :p

Seriously though, it's nice to hear cool stories like that. Congratulations.
