My first attempt at bulding a hotrod, and to post a picture. With the exception of the intake and fuel system, the engine is in mockup stage. The second pic is in a friend's shop. He's teaching me sheetmetal/body repairs as the car progresses. Turdytoo found the start of the project, several parts, and guided me with chassis/suspension fab. Thanks guys![IMG]

On #1's projects, I like them all. But the Sportster/Cushman mix is the best. Very cool. '22

Do work projects count? If so, here goes:

41 Continental Cabriolet to concours quality.

32 Reo Royale (very VERY kool car) to debut at Amelia Island FL on 3/9/08

48 Packard Henny Hearse for routine repairs and upgrades. Believe it or not, my dad took his final ride in it earlier this year. I glad to have here.

34 Packard roadster to concours quality.

More to follow, stay tuned for pics and history.

OK, if work projects don't count:

61 Bel Air bubbletop, and as much as I choke sayin it, a resto-mod being built for long rides and good MPG numbers. Lookin to make Det Billetproof in June but I have my doubts.

54 Chevy PU full blown kustom "shop truck" but will be an admitted trailer queen at 1st. A "time period" build to mid 60s flair but striving for the best fit and finish possible inside and out. A few pics, some posted before:

other than no interior and lots of cleaning the truck's current state:

A life long friend is in a Vet's Home and we are building this '25 Dodge Coupe together. He can't do any work because of his disabilities, but he comes over at least once a week and we make decisions regarding the build. He has most of the money in the project, although now he has no money left, and I have all of the labor. The deal is; he will drive it as long as he is able, maybe a summer or two, then it will become mine. Leo was an excellent fabricator and loved to dirt track race. He was the best gas welder I've ever known. It is hard for him to watch someone else build while he can't do anything, but it is far better than sitting in the Vet's home with nothing to look forward to.

2 projects which are starting to come together.. the 57' Fairlane has a 542" stroker. The 65' Coronet is being built with a nod to the superstock A990 drag cars of the early and mid 60's.

I haven`t been here long, but this is the kind of thread that really gets me going.
Here`s mine. 48 sedan with 4" chop, suicide doors, smoothed and checkerboard firewall, soon to be added, louvered hood and trunk. I`m using a small chevy with 2, two barrels and a NV3500 five speed trans and a 12 bolt rear. The other pics show the seats and custom dash finished. I should be driving by this summer due to long SD winters.

I wish I could show you some progress pics but I just got this home about a week ago and haven't had much time to work on it.
'41 Plymouth Special Deluxe Business Coupe.
Plans are to build a '50s mild custom, hopefully using the stock drive train (for now).
Lowered w/ a forward rake, big and little wide whites on steel rims w/ flipper 'caps.
'39 Ford taiights and possibly '39 ford headlights.
Have no idea what I'm gonna do about color. I've been removing the ton of bondo they spread over the fenders. They've been welded (poorly) to the body.
I am thinking of doing something crazy (non-traditional) w/ the interior....leopard skin?
