I need to get some contact info. from some of the newbies around town. Sorry if this is a little O/T, but it is about car guys getting together. You're a lot more likely to call someone to come help on your ride, or go help on theirs, if you know them in person. So here goes. Tonight (Friday) at Ginny's Little Longhorn, our very own Krupanut is playing. Shaun Young, backed by the Horton Bros., at a real live Texas hole in the wall honky tonk. It's on Burnett Rd. and should start around 9:00- 9:30 'til 1:00. Tomorrow night (Saturday) is the second night of the Ronnie Dawson tribute over at the Continental Club. The lineup is pretty awsome, as you should expect with all the friends that Ronnie had. Shaun Young, Marti' Brom, Mike Barfield, Teddy Roddy, Bobby Rambo, Ray Sharpe, and some other blues guitar player with a couple of nice old cars. That's right, Jimmie Vaughn at the Continental. All backed by the RD band of all stars, Tjarko Jeen, Lisa Pankratz, and Kevin Smith Bring your cars out and line 'em up out front. Ronnie woulda dug it that way. Buzz, I had planned on coming up for the Dawson thing. I didn't know it was a two night deal. Thought it was just Friday! I can only make it one night, so which night would you recommend? I'd like to see the Kontinentals too, so if all you guys are gonna be at Kraup's show on Friday, I'll come in on Saturday.
Sure wish I could make it. My trans that was supposed to be back Monday- still not back. Still no heads. Going to be a mad thrash weekend.

Dammit! I had this weekend set aside to thrash on my mini-bike - it's in pieces all over the garage. Let me see what I can do - the Buick needs to get out and stretch it's legs a little...
I will be there tomorrow night for sure with the poncho. I will be working on it all day tomorrow at the Scooter shop. Time to get out and explore this great town!

We'll be headed out Saturday night for sure. Kustom55 and I were actually able to get both of our wives to actually be seen in public with us. Count us in.

I was so pissed that I missed it too. Car was playing tricks on us until 8:00 that night and after that I really wasnt in the mood to go out. Piece of crap....
