Credit Card Companies are like insurance companies they do everything they can to not pay out claims so unless the retailer is positive they have a valid card they are on the hook or have to jump through hoops to get their money back. Credit card companies stand up for the cardholders not the retailers.

Fact...the credit cards protect the cardholder not the businesses! The cardholder pays the interest not the business.
