Welcome. My second car was a '54 Bel Air, 2 door sedan, three on the tree that slipped onto the floor when the linkage wore out so bad it locked up all the time, six banger with two single barrel carbs. Tore out transmissions on a regular basis. So frequently that I used to carry a spare and tools to change them on the road. Torque tubes suck big time! But I would take that car back in a minute!
