What's going on in New York City/Long Island this summer?

I moved out here in 69 and have never been back. I'm toying with the idea of going back finally. They say they're tearing down Coney Island. Jackasses. Amazing of all the other reasons, what might actually get me back for the 1st time. So, what else is going on?

 

The Yankee are going to win the 2007 World Series.

 

The Road Agents show in E. Hartford Ct. is back July 20th and 21st after a 1 year hiatus....Not that far of a drive and the friday night is not to be missed.....Also the Rumblers show in Brooklyn on August 25th has grown into one of the east coasts best in the past few years.....The grit and grime is the antithesis of your typical show
