We hope to have some answers after this next weekend, or the week after that. We still have a few tracks just over a hundred miles away, Oklaboma city area and an eighth mile track also in the range, Salasaw. Mokan and the HAMB drags are only about 130 miles. We might be faster at Mokan, it is more level than Tulsa. Tulsa from the starting line to the finish is about ten feet uphill. Mokan is only two feet uphill, but it is north bound for a little wind help. You can see Mokan, just go to You Tube and HA/GR, and see ride along with the Hornet, and ride along with the Rams. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=6eB3HpJB838 261 chev http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWan6WCzcAY&feature=player_detailpage flathead
Well guys, I'm still a****st the living.. 10" of incission, and an ankle that is not trying to go along with the game. BUT, I'm still walking.. And I also gained almost 3/4" in height as my bent leg is now straight like its supost to be.. Will be back for next year...Thanks for asking Tom.....****
Hey ****, looks like I may be in your neck of the woods this Friday, will you still be at home or at the shop?
Thingym-- **** it was real nice talking to you yesterday and I am glad you are doing so well. That 3/4" extra leg should help keep the pedle to the metal, or just push on the brake better, can't remember witch side you had done.
I just saw on the main board that Tulsa Dragstrip will remain open! Great news for the SDRA guys. In fact, Todd Martin, who has a SDRA dragster is one of the partners that steped up to operate the track. For a full/better explaination, check the main board.
That is good news for all the people racing in the Tulsa area. The one thing we don't need is to have more tracks shut down.
