My friend's fairly complete 26 T truck just sold at a large auction for $450. $100 sounds like a fair offer.

I'd be an**** and offer 10 bucks. I hate people who are selling something and won't give a price.

  6. Agreed. Only thing worse is when you make that $10 offer and the guy gets mad at you for it. You said make an offer, obviously you didn't know how much you wanted for it so how the hell should I??

Ok back to the thread. What was the last answer Bob? $100? I'll go $101

Local guy has had one for sale here forever at $500.00.
Obviously not selling at that price.

.........I would start low........I'am sure the guy would want more even with a high offer......You can always go up with a low bid......Starting price would be $25.............THEN HE WOULD SAY $50......can't buy much for $50. any more....Keep us posted.......good luck.....Big Bad John

If it's a roadster PU cowl, with a roadster windshield frame, that's worth a lot more than a closed cab PU cowl with closed cab WS frame.

At least you're not offending, by making a reasonable offer. Good move, never know when other tin may be available.
