Is this your car or are you looking at one ? Got any pictures if it isn't yours ?
Honestly it's not the best time to try and sell a car since the economy really ****s and the prices for decent cars are getting the prices they were a few years ago . It's also an election year so people are trying to keep what money they have to see what happens there !
If it's your car and you really don't have to sell it , then don't do it at all possible and wait til next year to see how the economy will be going .
I don't car know where you live but the biggest show on the east coast will be in early October in Hershey , Pa. the week of the 10th to 13th or so . It's the AACA car show and that will be the best place to sell your car if at all possible . People with big wallets full of cold hard cash are there from all over the world looking for something to buy and take back home with them .
    Just a thought .

If it's the fordor in your pictures then you should get more than that for it . You didn't get hurt for $1300 and then driving to get it home . It really doesn't look that bad except for the bad windshield . We can only see so much form that one picture . The biggest draw back is it's a fordor . Personally it doesn't matter to me and makes it a lot easier to get in & out of the back but some only want a tudor . It's a great family car for sure !

Can you give more information on the good , bad and the ugly about the car ? Also information on the drive train .
We know it needs a windshield , looks like rust in the 1/4s and over the rear wheels . It looks like it's got a 272 under the hood but what trans does it have ?
Have you checked to see how bad the front crossmember under the radiator is . That's the biggest problems with the 55/56 Fords .

  8. rust in the 1/4's and over the fenderwellsbut no where else. front cross member is clean .. runs fabulous, has the 3 speed standard column . brakes work great , exhaust is quiet , doesnt mark its territory with ANY fluids. windshield is getting put in this week. has 1 bad tire on the rear. headliner is brittle . thats all the bad i can find so far.

    Hotrod,
How far did you drive it home, just curious. If it's as nice as it sounds, and you can get me some good pics ........ and you bought it to flip, I would entertain offering you a nice profit. In any case, I think you dun-good!! If you still have trouble posting some pics, email them to me and I'll post them for ya.
