Whats the best liquid stripper for lacquer and base/clear/modern primers? I bought some that didn't touch either!
I bought a gallon can from Home Depot that said Airplane on the can. Follow the directions and it works pretty good. Took two coats on some areas. All chemical strippers seem to be temperature sensitive and want you to apply one heavy coat in one direction and leave it alone so it can work it's magic. Hint, wear elbo length rubber gloves and eye protection.
Tal Strip 2 is the prefered one by most shops. Take some 40 grit and scratch up the paint surface first.
I possibly have the same can of goop. had to laugh at the back, it says "not for use on airplanes" WTF
