Technical What's the best T5 transmission to use behind a 1946 ford flathead?

    This trans discussion is all over the place. For all the years I've sold my kit I have recommended the 85/92 S10 2 wheel drive trans. 85/89 has a manual speedo drive. There are lots of variations of gears but most of my customers have been happy with these. Some have integrated Camero or Mustang gears. The newer 93 up trans have a little deeper gears and a shallower OD. I just sold a kit for the late trans where the guy used SVO Mustang gears with the S10 bearing retainer and a Mustang disc. There's lots of information on here so do your research. Gary at Cornhusker

    Take what KRYLON32 says to heart as he knows what he is talking about when it comes to these transmissions.
