    Hi Guys,....

Well, I'm looking for my best option on reproduction early Ford steel wheels... Its been a while sense I've been out in the Garage, And sometimes with with age and inactivity, The ol' gray matter gets a little foggy.

    (all the way around I currently have a 5 x 4-1/2" BC)

Normally I would use the set of 50 Merc. 15" wheels I have. that have a 5x5-1/2" BC (The rears are reversed) And just re-drill the the drums & flanges, all around and use the original wheels... But I'm not quite that motivated at the moment. (I might have to be if there no other solution).

I know there are companies that make reproduction wheels,.. But back in the day, although they were suppose to take the original caps and rings, some didn't have the correct open areas on the centers near the rim (sometimes refereed to as eyebrow openings).. And some of them didn't retain the caps very well, flinging them off under power into the great unknown, never to be seen again.

Sooo.... who makes a dead nuts reproduction 15" early Ford steel wheel, with a 5 X 4-1/2" bolt circle... You can buy in a reversed configuration... That will hold onto the caps like wife's hold onto every little thing we've ever done wrong for decades ?

    Patiently waiting for your responses...

I agree Wheelsmith = good people and a pleasure to work with. However, not dead nuts repop as the OP asked. Wheelsmith's centers do not have vents, more of a smoothie design. Other than dealing with coker/vintage wheels model 64, I do not know of one that is dead nuts without the OP doing some work and building some.

    The “Vintage” series has vents.
