At the Portland Swap Meet this last weekend I saw an outside mirror that was called a passing mirror. It had a lense looking backward and one looking foreward all on the same frame. Weird!!

An Edelbrock X-3 6X2 Hemi Intake wasn't easy to find. They may not be the rarest intake, but there sure as hell aren't many of them around. My '31 Dodge Brothers DG8 three window (rumble seat) coupe doesn't seem to have a whole lotta cousin's hangin' around either.

Nice, I was looking for something rarer then Thickstun heads. Do you have any idea how many of these were produced and that's 16 plug right?

Two other candidates would be: I was over at a friends machine shop yesterday and he opened a shipping box with a magnesium small block chevy with a winters casting mark and an X code. It was from Yunicks place, Gm probably did a half dozen or so.

And finally the aluminum Ford flathead block that only one is known to be left from the original 10 that were poured. Last seen in Hot Rod mag in the mid 50's.
Unless someone else has seen it since?

For it to be of holy grail status shouldn't it be very special and the only one left in existance? Touched, designed, owned, used by.. or for someone or something of extraordinary character.
Probably looking at it too deeply, after all it is 1:00am and I'm in front of a key board.

Here is some!!! Pines winter front grille or 18" Ford Milk Truck's or Wide 5's, lyons wheel cover. Are only some of the parts I will be posting pictures of. 18" Halibrand's I would actually like some info on. The gold ones in the back of the pines.

Marchal Aerolux headlights.Only ever seen two other cars with them,a 1936 Buggatti Atalante Type 57C and a '37 Rolls Royce which was custom built for an Indian Prince.Though they had chrome buckets, mine are painted.I think they were a high-end accessory back then.If anyone knows better ,I'd be glad to hear from them.

That's exactly what I thought. I'd also say Arden heads for the Flathead.

Having found an Ansen Drag Brake, I have now moved on to the next grail. Please feel free to send me the one you have been saving for that project you will never get to and I promise I'll put it to good use:

For me, my supercharger set up.
My friend worked for ProCharger in charge of R&D and racing. He wanted to make something that was reminiscent of the old fuellie boxes with cross flags and fins, something for the traditional/street rod market but that could handle a big boost blower. He borrowed my coupe took some measurements. A few months later they asked for the car and installed the the prototype that was showcased at SEMA and shot it for the ads and marketing. As luck would have it they switched focus to boat racing and my buddy left to start his own shop. We think they made less than 8, I have number 1.
