I worked with a gal that had one of those Tempo's, bright red all wheel drive V6 SVT. Never heard anything else about those before or since.

Did it have starter delete too? I know those seem to be an issue with them as well

  3. Not as rare as a '58 Chrysler or DeSoto with Bendix fuel injection, but just try finding parts for a 1930 Dodge ...

1960 El Camino. Not as rare as some of the stuff you guys have posted, but they only made 14k El Caminos in 1960.

The ONLY FORD factory produced car with a SOHC (Cammer) in it. Made for austronaut Gordon Cooper. I have an autographed picture of him taking delivery and looking under the hood at the 2x4s Cammer. It was a Red 1966 7 Liter, 4speed Convertible from a barn in WI. Tom

Nice cars! but then I am an Aussie car fanatic stuck in middle America.
Here are a couple of pictures I have gathered of 40 era Ford UTEs. I am working on a website dedicated to the OZ UTE.

1970 AMC AMX Big Bad Orange, 360 4 Speed. 4000+ AMXs in 1970. Only 122 BBO made that year. 836 70 AMXs had the 360. Not sure of the number for 360 BBO cars but not many. Bought mine in 1975 and still have it.

Also a 1971 Dodge Challenger Deputy ~2400 built.

I had a 64 Chevelle 2 door wagon. Was in a junk yard in N. Sac. looking for parts for it when I found a 65 Chevelle 2 door wagon and ended up buying that one for $300. I had paid $450 for the 64, 6 cylinder 3 on the tree. This was in the mid 80's. Ended up going through a divorce and sold them both at the Turlock swap meet in 85 for $650. Also had a 1956 Austin Healey 100/4 with the factory aluminum hard top. Naturally I wish I had all three back again. From what I understand 1600 of the 64 2 door wagons were made and only 600 of the 65 were were made.

  28. I've been mulling this one over since this thread started. I've owned so many cars in the past 44 years. But I guess it boils down to my 37 Packard Super 8 1501.
