I have always wanted to hotrod an old jaguar Mark 9 and I just picked one up a few weeks ago and it will be this winters project. Thanks to Sodaturk for the photochop and this is what she will look like. Two tone black and burgundy is what we are after and the gray one is what she looks like.

I've had a total crush on the 84-85 CRX for a while now. They are deviously simple, beam in the back and torsion beams in the front. Even with that stone age stuff, the sub-2000# curb weight made them terrors in SCCA for a good long while.

I've been daydreaming about replacing the rear (non-powered) axle with a DeDion rear and throwing a motor in the trunk. I keep forcing myself to resist bringing a shell home until the Edsel is drivable.

The MK IX is a very nice car, the photoshop is really cool. That is going to be a tough chop but will look great when done. Had one years ago and still have all of the manuals for it.

Changes with the seasons, but right now it's one of these: (unless the bullet nose Studie is considered strange)

It'd be cool to put a engine out of a Pantera or Toronado in one. :D

  13. So do I. Oscar Meyer visited my Mom and Dad's Market once and took us for a ride... never forgotten it. Not much room inside tho because it was fitted the little dude.

I also would like to have a Tatra T603.

Wanted it. Got it. Still lustin after it,....its in my buddies garage coz my wife dont know yet. I think that only increases the lust factor though,.....its all I can think about. Its gonna drive me crazy......I am thinking it will almost be worth the fight to tell her. At least if she kicks me outta the house I can tinker with it.

Prob a corvair!!!!!! Not saying that they are strange but that would be the strangest for me

  19. It would have to be a Facel Vega! 361 cu. in., 365 hp Chrysler V8 with a 3-speed torque-flight trans! I had a chance to buy one when I was a youngster with some front end damage, but never followed up on it. Now they bring 6-figures!

I'd like to have another mid-60's Checker Marathon. My dad bought one new in 1965, and by the time I was old enough to drive it was mine TO drive. I hated it at the time, but would love to have another one now!

  22. I would have to say:

Innocenti Mini...cousin of the British Mini, but made in the Innocenti Lambretta factories in Italy.

1985 VW Golf 4dr. I had one of these when I met my wife. If I could find the original one we had I'd buy it in a heart beat.

1971 MGB....dad used to rally one before my brother was born in 1974.

1977 Volvo 164E....I grew up in one of these. My mom drove us everywhere. And my father beat the crap out of me when I broke the signal switch while messing around in the car when I was 5.
