History What's this four banger?

Pics from someone else, they picked it up from a yard.
It's an odd configuration with the intake manifold next to the valves, and siamesed exhaust right below that. I though MGA at first, but just can't find anything similar.

It's an English engine ,,Vauxhall Viva ,,Aussies used them in Early Toranas ,,they even had a Brabham special ,,twin stromberg CDs,etc
