Nope not a ford! Is that a Buick Crest on the hubcap?

doesn't look like there is a gas cap in the cowl, and the beltline is wrong for a 29.

The gas tank and front fender shapes are reminiscent of a `30 - `31 Ford (definitely not a `28 - `29), but the cowl band is different, the hood's too long, and then there's the crest on the hubcap. The suggestions that it's an early thirties MOPAR or Buick are as good as any

Ask Grandpa;)? Maybe other family members can remember what people they knew had and drove back then, might lead you down a path to discovering what it is.
When was the pic taken? It looks really old, and not everyone had 2-3 cars back then. Seems this car may be a little more distinctive than the typical run of the mill Model A (oh no! Here it comes!)

Grandma and Grandpa passed away quite some time ago. The picture was taken around 1936 in El Paso, TX. My Dad, (these were his parents) has no recollection regarding this car - he was born in 1936. Thanks for all the clues referencing either a Buick or MOPAR! And yes...grandma was a hottie in her day! LOL
