Can someone pull up Myke's 3 window? He is not on here anymore. Looking at it in person, I am pretty sure it wasn't more than 3" may have been 3 1/2 & 3" split
look at carnut site and get a feel for the chop style you like--mine is a downs with a 3 1/2 chop straight across--no problems driving for the last 12000 miles
If you make it look like this, men will envy you, women will chase you and no one will criticize your car...ever. I have heard 3 1/2 in front and 3 in back.
Too much IMHO, the registration label in the upper left screen corner is roughly 4" tall, the depth of the screen at the cowl would only be 6" if that.
Just like when placing a steering column in a hot rod..... Temporarily place the actual seat you will be running in the car, and sit in it. Use something to block your view out the windshield, like a chop does. Play with it, until you vision out the windshield is just barely okay. Measure the new windshield height, and compare it with cars, or pictures of cars with that amount of chop, to see if that amount of chop looks pleasing to you. Adjust accordingly.
I personally like fendered cars cut straight....fenderless can go either way.......I'd build it like I like and not worry about opinions myself.......that ALWAYS seemed to make me the happiest......hehehe
