There's nothing wrong with you. Like the guy in post #5 said you just have automotive AD.... hey look, a thread about
Wheew...I'm glad I'm ok The thing is, they all mean something. The ones I have. I've wanted the 41 160 for over 20yrs and finally got it. I was encouraged by my late mom to buy the truck. She said I needed to do a real show car or custom for myself for a change instead of for others. The bubbletop teeters on a 'means-to-an-end' format. i really like it but so do a host of others so a few years from now it may fund one of the Packards. If not, I can live with that. The 47 Clipper is just a slick and ***y *****. With a 49 degree rake to the windshield and an interior that reminds one of grandma's forbidden living room I just had to have it for those days down the road when I'll be taking p***engers. Then there's the 34. I'm not going to go into too much detail about it, but I've been dreaming of this EXACT model and body style since, well, **** I can't remember when. It's an 8cyl rumble seat coupe with a rear mounted spare. I intend for it to be the benchmark of Packard restorations in this series. It should be easy for me since my specialty is Packards from 32-34 and it's a perfect fit to showcase what I do. The Dietrich roadster is something I have a vision for and wish to do for someone else, but if I end up doing it...oh well. There's a bright spot. I now have help from my son I'll do a separate post about that.
