Customs What's wrong with this picture (fat fender content)

Like a game in an issue of "Highlights", how many things can you spot that aren't right for a '46 Ford in this picture...


The Corvair bumper grill bar and Fairlane 'gl*** chin and push bars are obvious, but what else? You should find at least 5 things...

I'll send the first with all 5 an "My other car is Older & Faster" sticker.

head light rings ,parking lights, hood side chrome, center hood piece,ant.

 

those fenders are off of a 48 the holes are for the parking lights.

I think we have a winner...

The hood is a off a '42, but the p***enger side trim is stock '46 (shorter), The top grill mustache has been narrowed in the center 3" and the ends lengthened half as much per end, the p***enger side mirror is Drake, totally useless, can't even see it from the driver seat, the gl*** is v-****ed, the antenna is not stock, I don't even know if the headlight rings are '46 or not, and according to some those fenders are 47-48... I don't know for sure, I thought they were drilled for some rusty aftermarket lights I has to grind off.

The '42 hood side trim and center trim is going to be taken off and the hood peaked, and the 46 side trim shortened, if you heed the stock '42 stainless, same with the 46 parking lights... They will be going in the cl***ifieds soon, send me a PM if you can wait for 'em.

That grille rules, and the color is wrong.

 

Are they stock 47-48 fenders? there was some funky aftermarket lights in them, I wasn't sure if they were just drilled 46's

There's no bump, or "belt" in the hood, because it's a '42 hood.

 

The fenders look like 46 fenders to me. The hole for the 47-8 parking light is probably 2" or so in diameter (much bigger).

 

OK, the fenders are stock then... The '42 hood trim is longer than the 46 trim, but it has the same profile shape.

 

The headlights are not T3's.

Nobody would notice the urine smell in front of the foreclosed house across the street... The stench from the *****er breeder pool that hasn't maintained in years would completely mask it.
