Its either the C.A.E. champ Q.C. for my pick-up, or the engine in the Anglia.

  3. This custom twin carb manifold for my '29 Chev 6, the best 10 bucks I ever spent :D . Carbs are single throat strombergs off a Holden gray motor

    1. Moon 3 1/2 gal tank, Weber mounts & Eelco hand pump that was on a friends roadster back late 50s early 60s.

2.Set of Edelbrock alum heads for 49-53 Ford/merc wrapped up in a July 8, 1956 Los Angeles Examiner newspaper, freshly surfaced (in '56), found in the trunk of a car I bought last year, and an old deterioated box , unopened when I found them in the same trunk, containing a set of 8 Edelbrock 1/8LC pistons for a 49-53 Merc. Later went back, bought a Merc engine with good block & crank & hipo cam & adjustable lifters from the guy I got the car from.

That would have to be my Clay Smith flathead. :)

  20. My collection is pathetically small for now, but I'd have to give the nod for coolest to my Weiand Drag Star 6X2. After that would be my Offy 3X2 for Y-Block, with 94's, old Eelco linkage and fresh chrome air cleaners. Nothing too fantastic, but they do a nice job of lookin' cool while they gather dust.

is it wrong that this motor makes my tongue hard and my toes curl up inside my boots? ;)

  28. My Vertex mag, not to special in itself but it is when its actually for a Ford 4 banger. A very early pre-war one and totally original down to its soldered and stamped tag's and bakelite plug caps. Found in Holland and bought in the Uk!

Also my 2x2 intake for the same 4 banger. Came from a '32 roadster, 4 banger powered that had raced on the dry lakes in the forties....

Next to Frankie (damn she's fast) I'd have to say my Fenton dual carb Flatty intake. Or maybe my offset ground (4 1/8 stroke) Merc crank.
