  3. There's a bitchin one around the block from me. Red and white, long bed, stock. He wants about $8500. It has a bigblock 390. Maybe that's why it's been forsale for so long. Nobody's touching it! It's real nice though.

I'm a little late to this discussion but here mine, a '66 F100, 352 V8, heavy duty four speed. I had the bed sprayed with color matched Rhino Liner, which is great stuff - I can haul all kinds of junk, and when I'm done just hose it out and it looks like new.

Bought the Dodge unseen on eBay for $1300. It was in Kansas, so we flew in and drove home. Awesome trp. It needs Cragars and bigs n littles really bad. Slanter with a three/tree.

    The 66 Ford was $1200 locally. 352 and three/tree.

I really like my GMC,it's a '70 short bed fleetside, like the dual headlight grille and the 396 very dependable truck. I know it's not HAMB material but I couldn't go wrong for $2400.

I've had 5 ford trucks 67/72 vintage, yes to new. They all have been great and reliable. Just in my neck of the woods they rust out and rot badly. My current truck has a 390 4spd runs great starts in 20 below wheather and just made a 500 mi roadtrip. Heres the spoils from one of those trips

Here's my FIRST post on the HAMB...

I'm 17, a senior in high school, and an honest-to-gosh car nut. My family is big into Studebakers, mostly. We have a few other oddballs around.

My daily driver is a bone-stock '59 Studebaker pickup. 58K original miles. My grandad and I repainted it in May of this year, doing it all ourselves. Then hauled it to South Bend, Indiana for the National Stude Club meet. Still has the little Flathead 6 sitting between the fenders, and a 3 speed Overdrive tranny bolted up to it. Just about as basic as it gets, but I love it.

The only problems I've had with it, is a clogged gas line and a banged up front fender. I found out the hard way that girls distract me from driving and there's a chance of me hitting the car in front of me... :D
(Just a fender bender, nothing major at all. And the girl happens to be a good friend of mine. That really made her day, she realized she's good lookin' enough to cause a wreck involving an old Stude.)

    I used to have a 61 unibody F250.
At the moment I have a '88 F250 für daily use.

And this thing here, a 69 F250 Ranger. My favourtite Pick Up of all years. I just think it hast the most beautiful line, and grille. Has a FE Big Block 390 and original Ansen Sprint 8 lug wheels.

1961 to 1966 Ford F100. Lots of parts available. These trucks came with the big six or a 352 FE. Since this motor family went out of production a long time ago there aren't a lot of motors that will just bolt up. Just sold mine earlier this year. Early 60's to 69 Chevy. Were kind of pricey so I thought that the Fords were a better deal. Of course sbc's are everywhere and cheap. Or just buy a 75-80 something Chevy stepside and don't mention it on the HAMB!

Me too! My grandpa had a '64 that I loved and rode many miles in when I was a kid. A family friend owned a body shop, and he fixed up a '65 C10 that I absolutely drooled over. He and his son restored my '64 C10 which I have owned for 25 years. I think the '64-66 C10's are the best looking of the bunch.
