Any of the vintage races at Elkhart Lake's Road America. I go to the one I can build my vacation around.

 

either back to the 50's or the rusty eyeball in wilmar, i love me some rat rods

yeah - was there this August, will be there next year again...a hell of a trip from Switzerland to Utah...but more than worth it!!

 

I have a similar obsession/problem with the Historics at Laguna Seca.

 

Old Town, Kissimmee FL, every Saturday night at 8:30pm.

It's not flashy, but it's steady. Some nights are better than others but not sure if there's a reason for that. Get there an hour earlier you can check out the cars and talk to the owners. First night I went I nearly wept, 490 cars.

I plan on going to the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona this year for the first time, but missed last weekend's Dream Cruise there.

 

At various times I would have said the Monterey Historics, Paso, Oakland Roadster Show, Back to the 50's, Goodguys Pleasanton.

Now? I dunno. Waiting for the next favorite, I guess.

"return to milltown" first weekend in august in palmer MA just keeps getting better.

 

I can't believe Frog Follies in Evansville Indiana hasn't been mentioned.

 

For my area of the US, I would have to say The Frog Follies, last weekend in August. Then the Pumpkin Run.

For me its the Symco Shakedown...First yr for it But it was a blast...then the Pile-up...rust revival...Greaserama....kkoa salina..looking forward to the vintage torque in May 2010..that will b their 1st show....but anytime I can drive my car is a good day!

 

I have always liked going to the LA Roadster Fathers Day Meet and the Outriders Picnic. Both are great events with a variety of cars and a chance to meet new friends and renew old aquaintences.

I won't be biased towards my own show, but I would have to say that the Rust Revival, Hunnert, Cheaterama and the Lonestar Roundup all are on the top of the list. All for different reasons.

 

Viva. The cars, the music, the people, Vegas..........It's all good.

 

LA Roadster's Show.....has a great swap area, a good mix of customs/rods in the specialty parking, it has history and most importantly, it's only 10 minutes from my house.
