Yeah, that's where the pix for the Hop Up annual were taken. I think Marc Morton (Hop Up) took a swing thru upper NY state to visit these guys this year.
I kinda dig this Gator Chaser: <img src=http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/image_uploads/211754-newwheel3.JPG> I like a car that makes no apologies for itself, and this one hits a homer! (Hear he's got a slick Chev, too! )
the BLEEDSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like original stuff......everything else is all starting to look the same to me......
The 575B coupe belongs to Ron Schmit along side Keith Cornell's 3window. Both super guys. I was in a car club with Ron's late brother Jim who helped me alot when I was getting into hot rods. I think Keith is making the drive to LA Roadster show in 04. I don't know if Ron will be there.
Hey, Rainer...I built a 1/25 scale model of that car...nearly EXACT down to the last detail...except mine had a y-block Ford T-bird mill in it. White with white frame rails, wide whites, V8 caps, fenderless, blue interior, under-car exhaust....alot like yours!
Hah! Three pics in this thread that I shot! Cool! Here's some of my faves that happen to be in my Starphoto page...
Here's some of my favorites. No pics, but I like Loud N Low's 34 coupe, Skipstitches '32, the Bleedster and the Lukester.
