Cool, George. I thought I was a Marty Robbins fan and I've never heard that one.

im not sure what all of these songs are about, some of them are pretty vague lyrically, but Fu Manchu has a bunch of car songs and car references.

    hell on wheels
    boogie van
    king of the road
    cyclone launch
    the falcon has landed
    california crossing

    "Happenin since
    The dawn of time
    Big block will shut down
    Off the line"
    -lyrics form california crossing-

    sweet detroit-lords of fuzz

  12. "I get Around" by the Beach Boys. Hands down the best!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. In a couple of months, my band is going to release a car song. It took a long time to get one made, but we're going to record it and I'll post it here and y'all can hear for yourself, cars and rock n' roll still go together! We call it "Rolling Burnout/Backseat Baby"....Yep, it's about my car that can't get traction and my drummer lookin' for action. That's a combo for ya!

"Haulin' Hearse" by The Ghastly Ones is another goodie.

Stickshift by The Duals, Thunder Road by Robert Mitchum, Hot Rod Lincoln, the live version on the album "Got a Live One Here" , by far the all time best version.
