The Crimson Armada, Hester Prynne, Bury Your Dead, etc. Not everyone's cup of tea but for some reason I like having ambient music that's really really intense.

"The only music I need is the sweet sound of my V8" (inserts the mother of all sarcastic smiley's and then turns up the Link Wray)

    About 8-tracks.
Back in '72, we were cruisin and partying  in our shared 62 Buick Special (3 of us owned it, we were in USMC) listening to Pink Floyd Meddle when it changed tracks. Guy beside me in the back seat asked "why do they always change tracks in the middle of the good songs?"
Driver replied, "So people like us can get the car back on the road before the music starts again!"

    AND IT WAS TRUE!!

    Ahhhh youth!

nowadays, I like running a curvy mountain road near here in my OT V6 Maxima (REAL fast). Both Jeff Beck's "Becks Bolero" and Santana's "Europa" are made for that, if you turn it up loud enough!

It is mathmatically impossible to drive less than 80mph while listening to "Green Grass and High tides" by the Outlaws, at full volume.

I'm with Rodder 25 on this one. No sound system in the bucket, so I listen to the big block 454 thumpin' away through the lake headers. If I did have sound, I would be listening to my 2 favorite bands of all time, Jason and the Scorchers and the Georgia Satellites.

I guess being something of an old punk - Social D, X, Cramps, Mummies, and the Clash are some of my usuals. Throw in a little Motorhead, MC5, and Stooges for good measure.

But I can't seem to drive my F100 Panel without DK's "Police Truck" popping into my head lately.

May be a bit new, but I am personally a White Zombie fan. Also a big fan of Clutch.
