I "hate" Rodders Journal because it's too nice to handle. I hate getting finger prints on the cover

Washing your hands might not be a bad idea.[IMG] Trying to get 1-Shot off the pages is tough.

I kinda hafta agree with Butt here...I used to buy about eight or ten different mags every month...but then I realized that it added up to about $32-$60 per month!

Now, I get a couple subs for Christmas from family and friends, borrow a few other titles to read, and put the money I used to spend on magazines into parts and tools for my CAR!

If I need to know or see anything, I can get it here from people I trust alot faster than I can get it from some media giant distributing larger advertising pamphlets every month!

Just this past month, my former magazine funds have paid for my battery tray, cables, wire and ignition switch! Far more productive and helpfull than looking at the Billet Part Of The Month or something!

The one that's in the mailbox when I get home from work cause chances are there will be a article or two I like and a car or two I'll dig.

    I'll second that,...except for HR(which I didn't renew). Although I do rank CR ahead of R&C.
I'd like to see "American Rodder", but can't find it around here and don't want to gamble on a sub.-same goes for Rodders Digest.
I should explain why I like CR better than R&C. Customs .
If "customizing" didn't exist(?) I'd probably have a rod, but I look for all the custom content I can find in a mag, while rods are abundantly represented in many venues, customs in print are scarce-I know(!)...customs are scarce in comparison to rods
